A criminal defense site rebuilt answer-first, with every legal figure checked against the statute
The problem
Criminal defense search in Dallas is one of the most saturated markets in the United States, and prospective clients increasingly ask an assistant before they ask a lawyer. An assistant cannot quote a page it cannot parse or attribute.
What we built
- The WordPress site replaced outright on 7 September 2026, with the old URL patterns redirected so links and bookmarks to the old site still resolve.
- Imported articles rebuilt answer-first: a short answer at the top, the statute behind it, and an FAQ built from the questions people search. 91 of the site's 105 pages carry that structure as of 30 September.
- Every legal figure checked against the statute text before it goes live, and the Texas bar's advertising rules applied: no outcome promises, a past-results disclaimer, no specialist claims.
- Topic clusters around the practice: DWI, arrests, drug charges, sexual offenses and white collar crime, each with a hub page linked to its supporting guides.
- LegalService and FAQ structured data throughout, so each answer carries a machine-readable subject, jurisdiction and question and answer pair.
- An llms.txt file describing the site for model readers, refreshed with each release, and IndexNow pinged on every deploy.
- Static output, so page weight and time to first byte are not at the mercy of a plugin stack.
What we would not claim
The new site went live on 7 September 2026 and October is its first full month, so no results are claimed yet. Search Console holds no history from before the cutover, and phone calls are not tracked, so web enquiries will be a floor rather than the whole picture. If you want outcomes, read the Keyper or Allied Bank pages instead.
